Heavy rain is finally here, after anxiously waiting I finally got to play it so I decided what the flip, why not it be my first review.
Plot: Heavy rain revolves around four characters searching for a killer, pinned the oragami killer because he always leaves an oragami in his victims hands.
Gameplay: Heavy rain at its core, is truly an interactive drama, by pressing R2 to move around and L3 to go in certain directions or just move your head about so you can view objects you can interact with them. By pressing L2 you can choose and listen to some of your characters thoughts. Interacting with your enviroment is usually key to gameplay as well as progression of the story and the decisions you make can strongly affect each characters outcome. If you jump in to heavy rain aware that this is the base of the gameplay you shouldn't be dissapointed.

Sound: To me the music was very affective in heavy rain, it impacted you emotionally enough to care for the characters and really adds to the cinematice experince, honestly the music in the game is 100 percent better than any of the movies that came out this year so far. Although the sound cut in and out every now and then , not for long though, another one of the bugs that needs to be patched. Even after beating the game the music really lingered in my thoughts, thats how much I enjoyed it.
Graphics: Visually Hr just is great to look at, the rain just looks beatiful and just adds to the noir atmosphere the game has to offer. Characters are quite detailed and there expressions are very life like. Enviroments are very detailed, although there is a kissing scene in the game that just looks weird.
Replay Value tons: As I said the decisiions you make afftect the outcome of the game, opens up new scenes, events, endings, more decisions and so fourth, theres lots of replay value to be found.
Final thought: Heavy Rain is basically is an interactive movie but is a damn good one. Its a really well written who done it and will keep you guessing to the very end, anyone who enjoys murder mysteries and the noir film genre or who are just looking for a thrill ride should give this game a chance even for a rent, storywise you wont be disapointed, and its an experince you wont soon forget even days after playing it. I give it four moose out of five.
